KRWQ and NEXUS Partner to Bring Korean Won Onchain to Games and Digital Content

KRWQ and NEXUS signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to explore Korean won-denominated onchain payments and settlement across the ONE ecosystem, including ONEchain, ONEPay, and the global ONE Store. The partnership explores a new future use case for KRWQ: bringing won-denominated payments and settlement to games and digital content, giving developers and publishers another way to price, collect, and settle in Korean won through onchain infrastructure. NEXUS brings significant distribution potential to this use case. The ONE Store ecosystem has more than 38 million embedded wallets and over KRW 500 billion in online transaction volume. NEXUS is also building out its global ONE Store ecosystem across games, digital content, AI, and blockchain infrastructure.

KRWQ is not currently offered in Korea. KRWQ is available to eligible users outside the Republic of Korea and does not offer, solicit, or market its products or services to residents of the Republic of Korea.

KRWQ to Join RWA Summit Singapore on October 9

In August, RWA Summit announced that Navin Vethanayagam, Chief Brain of IQ and Co-Founder of KRWQ, will be speaking at the RWA Summit Singapore on October 9. The event brings together participants from across tokenization, institutional finance, stablecoins, real-world assets, and blockchain infrastructure.

Singapore  is one of the most important hubs for offshore trading of the Korean won. Navin will be speaking about KRWQ and its role as the first Korean won stablecoin and a leader in the non-USD stablecoin space. The Singapore summit is part of RWA Week, a five-day program focused on the development and institutional adoption of tokenized assets.

Navin Vethanayagam joined Brave's The Brave Technologist podcast for an episode titled Why Non-Dollar Stablecoins Might Strengthen the Dollar. The conversation explored his β€œStablewoods” theory and the possibility that the growth of regional and non-USD stablecoins could ultimately reinforce, rather than displace, the role of the U.S. dollar in the global financial system.

The discussion also examined why the Korean won represents an unusual opportunity for stablecoin infrastructure and how regional stablecoins can benefit economies like South Korea. Beyond KRWQ, the episode covered the broader IQ ecosystem, including how SOPHIA and AIDEN are turning IQ.wiki's blockchain knowledge into infrastructure that can be used by AI systems.

KRWQ Joins The Rollup to Discuss the Future of Non-USD Stablecoins

KRWQ Co-Founder Navin Vethanayagam joined Frax Founder Sam Kazemian on The Rollup for a conversation about the evolution of digital assets, non-USD stablecoins, and the opportunity developing around the Korean won.

The discussion covered how KRWQ was developed, IQ's role in building the stablecoin, the scale of Korean won fiat trading activity on Korean exchanges, and how stablecoin markets could evolve in the future as more trading activity moves from direct fiat pairs toward stablecoin-denominated markets. The conversation placed KRWQ within the broader shift toward bringing currencies beyond the U.S. dollar into global onchain financial infrastructure.

IQ.wiki Integrations

IQ.wiki continued expanding its project coverage and interface integrations in August with Ewave, Cortex, Aurelia, Midas, LinkLayer, Verity, and others. These integrations connect project communities and product users with structured background information through IQ.wiki. Instead of relying solely on short-form announcements and social content, users can access persistent information covering projects’ products, teams, technology, history, and ecosystem development.

For participating projects, IQ.wiki integrations help turn community and product traffic into durable, searchable knowledge while continuing to expand the network of structured Web3 information available to users, search engines, and AI systems.
