IQ Times and Early Retired Cats Club (ERCC) will be raffling off 5 ERCC NFTs to HiIQ stakers using Chainlink VRF on Polygon to celebrate Korean Seollal and Chinese New Year. IQ Times is an independent community run organization dedicated to bringing more awareness to the IQ ecosystem.
The floor price of ERCC is currently around 0.5 ETH with a total volume of 1743 Ethereum! To enter the raffle, IQ holders must stake IQ with the HiIQ staking system before Feb 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM KST. The more IQ staked with HiIQ and the longer its staked for the higher the chance of winning ERCC NFTs. The max APR for HiIQ stakers is currently around 49%.
ERCC is a PFP NFT project based on the Cats & Soup mobile game, which has over 50 million downloads. It features 1,930 travel-ready cats from Starry Cat Village, stationed in 192 countries and one special feline kingdom. Each NFT has unique randomized attributes separated by at least six degrees.
Neowiz, the South Korean video game developer and publisher behind Cats & Soup, collaborated with the Web3 blockchain gaming platform Intella X for this release. The ERCC NFTs are powered by Intella X, an advanced Web3 gaming platform on Polygon. This platform supports NFT transactions and includes features like a decentralized exchange (DEX).
The HiIQ staking system was created to incentivize IQ holders to become long-term holders who stake and lock up their IQ tokens. The more IQ a holder locks up and the longer they lock up their tokens the greater their HiIQ balance. Both rewards and governance voting power are based on the amount of HiIQ a staker has. This gives IQ token holders a strong incentive to become long term stakers. As of today, IQ holders have staked more than 1.4 billion IQ tokens with HiIQ.
